Happy Mother's Day

My mother is a very pretty lady. She is about 35 years old. I love my mother very much. She buys many things for me. She wakes up very early in the morning. Then, she prepares breakfast for the family. When breafast is ready, she wakes up everyone in the family. Later, she goes to work after returning home from the office, she cooks our meals. She is a good cook. My mother likes to keep the home clean. She is a very hard-working lady. She works from morning till night to make our family happy. At night she teaches me how to do my school and tution homework when my father outstation. I am indeed very proud of her.

My Ya Qraul Al Quran

This year I was choosen by my teacher, Ustaz Naim to take part again in the Ya Qraul Al Quran competition southern zone level (2).

It was held at Sekolah Agama Bandar Baru Uda, Johor Bahru, Johor.

It was very tense, because I was the 1st competitor.

The microphone didn't work properly! The competition was hard but it was a very good experience.

This is my second time Ya Qraul Al Quran.

Four hours after the competition it was the prize giving ceremony, but this time I didn't get 1st place. I got consolation prize.

Even though I sort of lost, it still was the best Ya Qraul Al Quran experience ever. Thank you to Ustaz naim, Ustazah Hasmah, my parents, all my friends and everyone else who supported me of this wonderfull experience.



With all the experienced I'd gained this year, I am looking forward to be next year champion of Ya Qraul Al Quran competition National Level. I know I can do it! I hope to represent my school in many more competitions Ya Qraul to come as I want to do my school proud.

My name is Zulaikha Anastasia. I am a girl. I am ten years old. My school is Holy Infant Jesus Convent Johor Bahru. I have four members in my family. My father is Zulkifli, forty three years old. My mother is Nor Azura, thirty five years old. I have one little brother. My brother's name is Muhammad Zulfadzleel Adzym, aged seven years old. I love my grand parents too. My paternal grandmother is Rafeah. My maternal grandmother's name is Aisyah. I love my family very much.
